LUCI® uses the power of bioluminescence – living creatures – that produce light naturally. This can be found in fireflies, some species of deep-water fish and certain bacteria. These agents are alive and need to be replaced regularly (approx. once a month)  This keeps LUCI® going strong.

When you purchase a robotic or conventional milking machine, LUCI® will come with a service agreement so that you are supported long after the device is installed. Part of the service agreement is an arrangement to ship reagents regularly to your door so that LUCI® always uses fresh biotech materials.
